The CCM-1 was the largest IntelliCam project to date. No system before it had the ability to upload video clips. This required a second microcontroller, full speed USB transfer, and a website for users to view video. The second microcontroller was a FTDI chip that at the time, was the only full speed USB 2.0 dual-host chip. I wrote thousands of lines of code (and USB protocol) to enumerate the camera as well as the 4G modem, and transfer the video file at full USB speed. I then wrote a new SMS "command set" to control the system. Lastly, an entire web frontend and backend was design for the User Interface. The end result was a one-of-a-kind product that offered brand new features and technology.

The CCM-1 is a 4G "video backhaul" system that will send SMS alarm notifications and allow the user to upload videos. It has an integrated C battery pack, integrated wireless RF receiver, and is in a ruggedized weatherproof enclosure. The system can be fully controlled via SMS. It can be triggered by any of our sensors, and also has a built in tamper detect motion switch. Videos can be viewed online on a secure site with full a user interface.
